User Profile

I am from mickey mouse pj's and rain on the tin roof of a trailer, from parents with small pockets and big hearts, from long cold winters and swimming holes in the summer. I am from a makeshift stage on the loaft of an old barn, from Smurfs and Who's the Boss, from bare feet and the sound of stray cats. I am from rope swings and strip mines, from back roads and homemade wine, from guitar music and tree cabins. I am from poetry and home videos, from poor grades and make believe adventures, from the Clarion river and finally being free. I am from five different college majors, from music festivals and camping trips, from philosophy, psychology, and anthropology. I am from summer jobs and asswholes for boyfriends, from the sisterhood of 537 and a boy with a pigpen hat. I am from solitude and serenity among trees, from hating war, racism, and inequality, from bottles with wholes on the bottom and escaping into art of all kinds. I am from wilderness therapy and NOlS, from taco bell hot sauce, and the church of love and music, from the mystery machine, and hours spent in long lines to find out i havn't got the right form. I am a work in progress an unfinished product a waxing and waning moon waiting for times when i feel full and dreading the times when the darkness comes.
